St. Croix is a U. S. territory. It is 29 miles east to west, 6 miles north to south and 1200 miles southeast of Miami Florida.

Since the Island is a U. S. territory, a passport is not required. The currency is U. S. dollars, credit cards are widely accepted and ATM machines are available.

The Island offers a wide variety of activities for people young and old. At the eastern end of the Island is Point Udall, the eastern most point of U. S. territory.

You can spend a day sightseeing in Christiansted. The city showcases a variety of historical architecture, numerous places for duty free shopping and a wide selection of restaurants. Your choices range from an informal pub on the boardwalk facing Christiansted harbor to elegant continental cuisine.

Off the coast of Christiansted is Buck Island. This 800 acre nature preserve offers numerous opportunities for scuba diving, snorkeling and deep sea fishing.

Salt River National Park is on the North shore. It is the site of Christopher Columbus' first landing in 1493. For snorkeling and diving on the North shore, Salt River offers many opportunities. Through the crystal water you may see sponges, anemones, decorator crabs and more.

St. Croix is also home to 3 golf courses - the Carambola, designed by Robert Trent Jones, the Buccaneer and Duggans Reef.

Don't miss the Cruzan Rum Distillery on the south side of the Island. The Divi Casino also overlooks the south shore.
